The commercial

I had the most wonderful experience, during my NICU days.  I made a national commercial for our New state of the art Level III NICU.
One morning as I was getting ready to hand-off my babies to the day shift, my day charge nurse approached me and asked if she could talk with me in private.  Yikes I thought what did I do now?
She saw the look in my face.  No,no, its all good she stated.
Whew, but long story short, she told me that the hospital wanted to use a "real RN" in a new commercial about the new level III NICU, and she thought of me.  I have had past experince with being an extra in movies and TV.  So of course I excepted.
Had to meet with the director and producer of the commercial, very exciting (actually had to audition)
They flew me out to California for two weeks, for filmimg.  Its so amazing that a 30 second commercial can take so much time to be made.
One day before the shoot, they took me to a movie supply warehouse and I got to pick out all the NICU equipment.
As seen in the the photo below, that was a false Nicu unit , but all the equipment was real.
We had three actor babies also.  It was my job to work with these babes, but also make sure they were safe and warm.
One darling moment, that I will never forget, was when I stroked the baby's cheek and the babe yawned ,it certainly was an awwwwww moment, and they caught it all on film!
That commercial ran for a year,  my 15 minutes of fame.
